
Michael Cole is the co owner and operator of 4Balance Fitness and a seasoned fitness professional known for blending real world coaching with a strong scientific foundation. His work is built on the belief that great training is not about hype. It is about principles, consistency, and a plan that matches the person in front of you.
Michael’s coaching foundation began as a two sport athlete in football and baseball, where he learned discipline, teamwork, and what it takes to perform under pressure. That performance mindset continued into his career as a professional wrestler, which refined his approach to preparation, recovery, and mental resilience. He understands that progress is not just physical. It is behavioral, psychological, and earned through repeatable habits.
Michael holds Bachelor’s degrees in Exercise Science and Nutrition Science (Furman University and Kaplan/Furman University). He applies evidence based training methods grounded in biomechanics, progressive overload, and intelligent progression. He also understands nutrition as a practical skill set, not a set of rules. His programming is designed to be measurable, sustainable, and individualized, whether he is working with athletes pursuing performance or adults rebuilding strength, confidence, and consistency.
Inside the gym, Michael’s mission is simple: help you train with purpose, build momentum, and become stronger for life. Clients appreciate his ability to explain the why behind the plan, simplify what matters most, and create structure that actually fits real life.
Outside the gym, Michael enjoys time with his wife, Ali, their family, and their ever growing crew of pets. If you ask, he will gladly talk about them at length. He is also continually seeking to grow as a servant leader and faithful steward.

Allison Cole is a devoted wife, mother, and health practitioner whose passion for wellness began at home.. Allison brings a rare blend of clinical perspective and real-world coaching—grounded in years of nursing experience and a deep belief that strength training and lifestyle habits can change the trajectory of someone’s health.
Before fitness became her full-time mission, Allison spent years in nursing caring for patients and seeing first hand how daily choices compound over time. That experience shaped her approach today: proactive, practical, and focused on building a body that functions better, not just looks different.
Allison is known for creating an environment where clients feel supported, challenged, and confident. She tailors training to the individual, whether the goal is weight loss, improved energy, better strength and mobility, or returning to fitness after time away. Her style is clear, encouraging, and accountability driven, with programs that meet people where they are and help them progress consistently.

Lucy is our four legged team member and the heart of 4Balance Fitness. Lucy has been part of the gym since 2016, and if you have trained here, there is a good chance she has already made your day better.
Lucy’s welcome is usually loud. She often greets people with barking, but it is simply her way of saying hello. There is not an aggressive bone in her body. Once she has said hi, she settles in and brings a calm, comforting presence to the space.
She greets members at the door, makes her rounds during sessions, and seems to know when someone could use an extra moment of encouragement. Sometimes it is a quick tail wag. Sometimes it is sitting close by during a tough set. Either way, Lucy helps set the tone for the gym we want: supportive, positive, and grounded.
She is our unofficial mascot, our most popular staff member, and a reminder that progress does not have to feel intimidating. Come say hi, and do not be surprised if she earns a spot on your list of reasons you love training here.

Wednesday is our Ball Retrieval Specialist and Allison’s constant shadow. We adopted Wednesday in 2023, and she made her priorities clear immediately. First, love Allison with her whole heart. Second, chase the ball. Third, attempt to eat anything she is not supposed to.
Wednesday is Allison’s soul mate in a dog. If Allison sits down, Wednesday is on her feet. If Allison moves, Wednesday is right behind her. She loves Allison more than anything in this world, and she is not subtle about it.
In the gym, Wednesday brings playful energy that keeps the atmosphere light. You will see her trotting around with a toy, nudging Lucy into a game, or proudly “borrowing” something that clearly belonged to Lucy first. She is like Lucy’s little sister, keeping her active and young as she gets older.
With her expressive eyes and affectionate personality, Wednesday has a way of making tough days feel easier. She is always ready for a nuzzle, a tail wag, or a quick round of fetch between sets. Come meet Wednesday, and be prepared to smile. She is part sidekick, part morale booster, and fully convinced that Allison is the greatest person who has ever lived (she is correct).
